hi i plan on going to business school in college but i don’t know which specific part i want to major in. What business career is generally not boring and does not have very long work hours? These are important because i dont want to always be away from home and be busy when im an adult, but i sitll want a major that isn’t tedious or boring.

How much should a business owner pay himself? Is it a certain percentage, or a set dollar amount?

I have a small computer repair/webdesign business in Oklahoma. I also manage at a pizza place, go to school and am a volunteer firefighter. I dont know how much of my business funds to pay myself in order to keep everything paid for, and still help the business grow.

What steps should a business take to claim legal ownership of work completed by contractors on it’s behalf?

If a small business hires either independent contractors or another business to perform work for them, what steps should that business take to make sure that the completed product is legally owned by the business and not the entities or individual employed to create that product? What percentage of a business do you typically have to give to an investor funding a business idea?

I’m going to be starting a business and I have a person that is willing to handle all of the development costs etc. Since it is an online business, the start up costs are pretty low for a business, under $10,000 definitely, probably under $5,000.

How does a business collect from a customer that has filed bankruptcy?

Have a small business and have a customer that has run up a debt and their company is now filing bankruptcy. How does a business go about collecting from the business. We are a small business also there has to be laws to help protect us also. Need some advice on how to legally go about being paid as a creditor. Also if a business says they are filing bankruptcy is it public record and what sites show this record.
